Two Luxury Services on Shinkansen
Pamper yourself with JR East's extra-comfortable GranClass service, available on Shinkansen trains from Tokyo to Kanazawa, Aomori, Sendai and Niigata. These First-Class cars offer tranquil and private space with only 18 roomy seats. Passengers can use a private lounge in Tokyo Station, and receive complimentary refreshments on board. With prior arrangement, we can offer charter space for groups to use GranClass.
We also provide escort service between Shinkansen platforms and car service or taxi. Escorts help passengers with luggage and guide them through stations. This service requires an additional charge and advance reservations. Your travel comfort always comes first.
